My dear friend from college lost her son Nick on January 4, 2012. She decided to use a piece of pottery I gave her many years ago as the urn for his ashes. This unfortunate situation in her life has given me the opportunity to re-connect and catch up with my dear friend Nancy. I had the privilege of attending his memorial service on February 25th. This service was a fantastic transformational celebration of his life. He was a truly gifted and well loved young man. I deeply regret that I never had the chance to meet him. I am very touched and honored that she chose my piece as the vessel for his ashes. -A. Yutzy |
